Woodland Bluebell Engagement Session | Stoughton Photographer

This awesome couple booked us last year ready for their festival inspired wedding, and when the time came to meet for their engagement session their first port of call was to the pub! Now that’s my kind of people! So after they got their initial photo jitters out of the way with the help of a pint (or two!) we headed up a country field towards woodland in search for bluebells; and Stoughton woods did not disappoint.

The ground was literally carpeted in these blue wild flowers and it made for a pretty special backdrop. Now Tom and Juliet are just one of those couples with such a history together their laughs alone set one another off; it was so brilliant to be around such a happy couple clearly made for each other.

Their wedding day sounds like it’s going to be a cracking one with a marquee set up in their home village field in West Sussex and of course a band to finish the celebrations off; no doubt they’ll be partying until the early hours with all their guests! So look out for their wedding gallery later this summer!

This wood looks exactly like the one I visited as a child – then with my daughter years later. My mum has just died and wanted us to come back here. Can you give me directions from stoughton village?
Your photos are amazing! I have one or two of my daughter in these woods – with bluebells – taken 38 years ago!
Thank you

Hey Fiona, I’m so sorry for your loss. These woods really are so beautiful, I hope you can make it there before the season is over. You can find these woods at the back of Hare & Hounds pub. Thanks for your compliments on my work I really appreciate it. All the best, Alex.
